Prairie Series

Open skies and spaces, are often what comes to mind when we think of the prairies.  For me, the prairies also offer an interesting subject for my paintings.  They may appear like a backdrop to a particular subject as in a portrait or screen play, or they may be the main cast for a surprising interplay of dramatic skies, and sometimes colorful landscape below.
